Jamie Goodyear is an open source advocate, Apache developer, and computer systems analyst; he has designed, critiqued, and supported architectures for large organizations worldwide. He has worked in systems administration, software quality assurance, and senior software developer roles for businesses from ranging from small start-ups to international corporations. He has attained committer status on Apache Karaf, Servicemix, and Felix, and is a Project Management Committee member on Apache Karaf. Recently he co-authored Packt Publishing’s “Instant OSGi Starter – The essential guide to modular development with OSGi.” along with Savoir’s Johan Edstrom. Currently he divides his time between providing high-level reviews of architectures, mentoring developers and administrators with SOA deployments, and helping to grow the Apache community.

OSGi DevCon 2013 will be co-located with EclipseCon in Boston, Massachusetts between March 25 to 28. The conference will allow the OSGi community to gather to meet, greet, share ideas and experiences.
